Hup Pipple Hup! Pipple is the winner in the Go Green category of the Reimagine Football initiative.<\/p>\n
A challenge organized by the Football Innovation Platform, in which European football organizations such as the KNVB, UEFA, the Johan Cruijff ArenA, City Football Group and AFC Ajax have joined forces to tackle joint challenges in the football industry.<\/p>\n
Last week, 12 organisations were invited to pitch their ideas to the international football community during the online Collaboration Event. We are pleased to announce that the jury consisting of Gijs de Jong, Henk van Raan, Pete Bradshaw, Michele Uva and Andrea Traverso have chosen to continue working with Pipple’s winning solution.<\/p>\n

Every weekend, around 65,000 amateur football teams from all over the Netherlands come together to play against each other. Carpooling is common, but often the team meets centrally at the club before driving to their destination.<\/p>\n
Pipple has introduced an add-on to the existing Voetbal.nl app where players can sign up to ride together. This reduces the number of kilometres driven and subsequently reduces the CO2 footprint.<\/p>\n
