During these talkswe show how data science can contribute to a better world. We explain the basic concept, so that at the end of the talk you could apply the technologyyourself.

On Thursday, February 16, 2023 , we organize the Pipple Tech Talk ” Route optimization: Theory meets a practical implementation” at our office in Eindhoven. Mathijs Waegemakers (Senior Data Scientist Pipple) will talk all about algorithms for route optimization during the Tech Talk .

The talk starts with an overview of commonly used algorithms that are used by large companies to optimize their routes. During the presentation, Mathijs will share personal anecdotes about what he has encountered at various logistics companies over the past 8 years. Ultimately, we dive into the implementation of these algorithms and what it takes in practice for the logistics department to actually apply the algorithms.
