Last week, PyData Eindhoven and Pipple once again brought the data and AI community together at our office in Eindhoven. During the PyData × Pipple meetup “From data to production”, more than sixty professionals delved into one central question: how do you truly bring data and AI solutions to life in a way that is scalable, reliable and secure?
From idea to impact
Data and AI only have value when they are actually used. During this meetup, three speakers shared their practical experiences of building, testing and scaling up data and AI solutions. No demos or experiments, just honest stories about what works, what doesn’t, and why.
Three practical stories from different domains

Lucas Hartmans (CGI) took us through the development of CyberBench: a framework for testing Large Language Models for security risks such as prompt injections and data leaks. His session demonstrated how GenAI components can be integrated safely and responsibly into production environments.

David Rijsman (Covolt) demonstrated how the core principles of AI agents remain surprisingly consistent, whether they are applied to Mars rovers, supply chain optimisation, or energy trading. An inspiring story about perception, planning, and decision-making across domains.

Yannick Mariman and Joshua Kalisvaart (Pipple) concluded with an in-depth session on CI/CD pipelines for a global data platform in more than 30 countries. Using concrete cases, they shared lessons on scalability, robustness, and security. From dbt and Terraform to everything needed to keep pipelines running in practice.
Community, knowledge and conversations
In addition to the content, there was plenty of opportunity to get together. With pizza, drinks and good conversation, it became clear once again what PyData × Pipple is all about: sharing knowledge, learning from each other and working together to build better data and AI solutions.
