What gives you energy, at or outside work?
At work, I get a lot of energy from the variety of tasks and the people around me. I love collaborating with colleagues who are ambitious, constructive, and truly committed. I also enjoy seeing behind the scenes at different clients and learning something new each time. That combination of teamwork, new projects, and being challenged really energizes me.
What are you proud of in your role or team?
I’m proud of stepping outside my comfort zone and continuing to grow. For example, I had the opportunity to represent Pipple as an ambassador for Women in Data Science, selecting speakers and speaking on stage in front of 350 women at the High Tech Campus. In addition, we recorded podcasts and created webinars… all outside my comfort zone, but incredibly rewarding experiences.
What do people often not know about you?
There aren’t many surprises; I’m quite open, and people know me as I am. But something people sometimes forget is that data consultants aren’t just technical. I find the human aspect very important. From my HR role and experience as a Data Science Translator, I often sense what’s happening in teams—for example, when there’s tension between people, if someone isn’t feeling well, or when processes are unclear. I’m not afraid to address these things in a way that helps others take steps forward. That combination of data skills and human intuition is often underestimated, but it makes a big difference in projects and organizations.
What is your most memorable Pipple moment?
Signing my contract on the bar of the après-ski hut during the Pipple ski trip. There’s even a photo of it!
